Fin Min says Russian govt not to raise taxes in several years
MOSCOW, Jan 17 (PRIME) -- The government has no plans to raise the tax burden in Russia in the coming years, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said at the Gaidar Forum on Wednesday.
“The government has no plans to raise the tax burden in years to come,” Siluanov said.
He also said that whereas the results of the last capital amnesty finished in 2016 were not too satisfying, as only 7,200 declarations were submitted, the ministry expects the new, 2018 capital amnesty to be successful.
Siluanov said that businessmen used to worry the last time but their concerns did not fulfil. “We already have experience, see positive results. You’re welcome, if you have business problems abroad, transfer money here, declare what is registered on you, work here, in Russia.”
